As we draw near to the close of one church year and the beginning of a new year with the season of Advent, it’s important that our faith is given a chance to reflect upon what the past year has taught us (happily or less happily) as well as looking forward to what the coming year might bring for us in the life of faith. We are unable to transmit live Masses from the Cathedral, but such is the importance of these upcoming Sundays that we are recording them and then placing them on our parish YouTube platform. (www.YouTube.com and search for Lancaster Cathedral). Bishop Paul will be the main celebrant and preacher for both Masses along with socially distanced cathedral clergy. If you can, please do join us for these celebrations so that we get a chance to be united (at least in a cyber sense) with our Bishop as we offer due praise to God. The video’s will be available from early morning on both dates.
